Leibniz University Hannover’s Role in UrbanAIR

LUH prepares and adapts high-resolution urban climate models for UrbanAIR. This includes preparing 3D urban geometries and dynamic boundary conditions for integration into the Destination Earth (DestinE) platform. The team then performs high-resolution simulations that resolve three-dimensional turbulence across urban scales.

The LUH Team

  • Prof. Dr. Björn Maronga – Principal Investigator

  • M. Sc. Nooshin Nowzamani – Researcher
