About R-Cities

R-Cities is the world’s leading urban resilience network. Its staff, including a global network of Chief Resilience Officers in more than 100 cities, has been working on urban resilience for nearly a decade.

Through knowledge sharing, partnerships and funding, R-Cities empowers cities to implement programmes that raise awareness, reduce vulnerability and mobilise investment. The network provides the support needed to build safer, more equitable, and sustainable urban futures.

R-Cities’ Role in UrbanAIR

In UrbanAIR, R-Cities leads user engagement and coordinates the User Committee Meetings. This work ensures that:

• Cities and stakeholders are active participants in shaping the tools being developed

• UrbanAIR services reflect real-world challenges and user needs

• Project outputs are co-created and tested with their target users
